BREEAM Ecohomes

As a BRE licensed organisation, Harrison Environmental Consulting offers a complete range of in-house services to carry out successful, cost effective Code and Ecohomes Assessments and related services. Currently, we have BRE certification for EcoHomes, and are in the process of obtaining BRE certification for Schools.

The Code for Sustainable Homes has been introduced as a design standard for developers to demonstrate their commitment to achieve the Government’s sustainability targets. Developers may use the Code now to demonstrate sustainability criteria and facilitate planning applications. The Code has been a voluntary standard for ALL privately built homes in England since April 2007. It will be mandatory to have a rating from 1st May 2008 and to achieve Level 3 by 2010.

• Pre Assessment Estimator report, designed to allow strategic decisions
• Stand alone Design Stage and Post Construction assessments and reports
• Advice and direction on sustainable design and strategic planning
• Energy Assessments and Certification for Part L and HIPS

• Developers specification (sections required for the Code / EcoHomes assessments)
