POSITION: GEOTECHNICAL/GEOENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER

A Geotechnical / Geoenvironmental Engineer is required to join the geotechnical engineering division in London, to work on a range of site investigation projects across London and the south of England. Candidates as a minimum should have a first degree in a relevant subject and at least five years experience of site investigation. The role will involve a mixture of site and office based work, predominantly based around the control and management of geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigations.

Candidates as a minimum should have a first degree in a relevant subject and at least two years of site investigation experience. The role will involve a mixture of site and office based work, predominantly based around the control and management of geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigations. The ideal candidate should have experience in project management, supervising and undertaking a range of fieldwork methods, giving foundation recommendations, advice on ground conditions, soil infiltration, undertaking phase one and two contamination assessments.

POSITION: ASSISTANT GEOTECHNICAL/GEOENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER
DURATION: Flexible – Summer 2012 to Summer 2013

The Harrison Group would like to offer a one year intern placement to students. As an Assistant Geotechnical or Geoenvironmental Engineer, the successful candidate would work on a range of site investigation projects across East Anglia and further afield, and would be part of the geotechnical department in Norwich. The placement would involve field experience and office-based activities, learning the process of site investigation and assisting Engineers with ongoing projects. Candidates should be part way through a degree programme in a relevant subject.
