Harrison Group Designed and undertook an extensive intrusive investigation prior to development of the site for commercial/industrial premises. The client wished to cut and fill the sloping site to create a level platform for construction. Harrison Group designed an appropriate earthworks method based on the soils present on the site.

A testing strategy was also devised and the supervision and validation undertaken by Harrison Group employees. The Client was able to place foundations in the engineered fill following an assessment of the suitability of the soils. This offered a significant cost saving on the use of a deeper foundation solution.
